De-Stress Essential Oil Blend

 

In this post, we’re sharing our go-to recipe for a de-stress essential oil blend that you can easily make at home.

With carefully selected oils known for their calming, mood and mind balancing properties, this blend is perfect for creating tranquillity, relieving stress and anxiety and balancing the mind.

Let’s dive in and create a little pocket of peace in your day!

 

4 drops - Boronia Absolute 3% in carrier oil – Boronia clears unhappy thoughts, provides clarity and assists with feeling calm.

3 drops - Tuberose Absolute – Has a mind balancing effect and helps anxiety.

3 drops - Violet Absolute - Mental and emotional benefits include; peaceful states, calmness and reflective meditative experiences.

3 drops - Carnation Absolute – Calms the mind and balances moods.

3 drops - Lavender Tasmanian angustifolia – Relieves irritability, balances and calms the mind.

3 drops - Sweet Fennel Tasmanian – Fortifies courage and aids in relaxation.

3 drops - Coastal Tea Tree Tasmanian – Overall wellbeing, reduces feelings of stress and calms the mind.

2 drops - Cedarwood Himalayan – Calming effects and sedating.

2 drops - Frankincense Carterii – Soothing, fortifying, relieves stress and tension.

4 drops - Calabrian Bergamot – Beneficial for tense and anxious people.

2 drops - Ylang Ylang – Relieves stress, balances the body and mind.

2 drops - Patchouli – Is a great mood balancer.

4 drops - Blood Orange – Relieves stress and anxiety.

2 drops - Sandalwood (Santalum album) 3% in carrier oil – Relieves anxiety, calms the mind, and balances the emotions.

 

Mix all of the oils into an amber bottle or jar.
Store in a cool, dry, dark place.

When wanting to use, use not more than 10% of the oil blend in a medium such as coconut oil or a diffuser/humidifier.

If you would like to use the de-stress oil blend as a rub, you can use a solid organic coconut oil with no more than 2% of the oil. If using for children, do not use for children under 2 years of age.

There are a number of people who should avoid essential oils or at least obtain the correct advice. They include: People who are pregnant, babies, people with Hypertension, people with Epilepsy or a Neural Disease and pets. You must always seek out and research the correct information regarding oils.

Essential oils are listed as a chemical by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). The reason they are called chemicals is that they contain volatile chemical compounds from plants. (Remember that not all chemicals are demons!)
