Are you someone who suffers from the Winter blues? There may be a little comfort in knowing that you are not the only person who does, but, we also have something wonderful for you to try to combat it!
We have a a recipe for you to make your very own, “Winter Blues Oil Blend” to enjoy on those long, cold winter nights, while you are sitting on a comfy chair, with a nice throw rug and a great book, maybe even with a hot drink and a beautiful, roaring fire in the background.
5 Drops – Osmanthus - Aids in promoting positivity and upliftment, assists with the relief of situational depression.
3 Drops – Bergamot - Rejuvenating and energising, helps with bringing about optimism and upliftment.
2 Drops – Frankincense - Soothing and fortifying, relieves tension and stress. Great for meditation and focus.
3 Drops – Peppermint - A great tonic, refreshing and antimicrobial, freshens the stale closed up room.
2 Drops – Cedarwood - Freshens the air, antimicrobial, assists with congestion and aids in bringing about calm feelings.
5 drops – Rosemary - Used for boosting the mood, enhances cognition and aids with anxiety and stress.
3 Drops – Blue Tansy - Calming the mind, body and spirit, promotes relaxation and calmness with positivity.
5 Drops – Ylang Ylang - Balances the mind and body.
5 Drops – Coffee Blossom - Has a positive effect on stress levels and aids in reducing anxiety and balances.
2 Drops – Patchouli - Used by Aromatherapists for mood balancing.
Mix all of the oils into an amber bottle or jar.
Store in a cool, dry, dark place.
When wanting to use, use not more than 10% of the oil blend in a medium such as coconut oil or a 8-10 drops in diffuser/humidifier.
If using for children, do not use for children under 2 years of age.
There are a number of people who should avoid essential oils or at least obtain the correct advice. They include: People who are pregnant, babies, people with Hypertension, people with Epilepsy or a Neural Disease & pets. You must always seek out & research the correct information regarding oils.

Essential oils are listed as a chemical by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). The reason they are called chemicals is that they contain volatile chemical compounds from plants. (Remember that not all chemicals are demons!)
