Boost your Immune System from Autumn to Winter

As the months become colder, there are some things that you can do to help boost your immunity & stay healthier through the colder months.

Hydration
As the weather starts to cool, it’s easy to forget to drink plenty of water. Even though it is cooler, your body needs to stay hydrated as water is very important for your body to function at its best.

Eat Well
Giving your body good nutrients is just as important as staying hydrated. Eating plenty of fruits & vegetables is an easy way to get more vitamins & minerals into your body to assist with boosting your immune system & assisting your body through the colder months.

Stay Active
Even though the thought of staying in, watching a movie or your favourite TV show whilst curled up on the couch eating your favourite snack foods seems really inviting, doing it too often can be bad for your health. Staying active has many positive benefits, helping your body both physically & mentally, improves your overall health & quality of life.

Skincare
It is common for skin to become dry & flaky in the colder weather. It is important to adapt your quality skincare routine, making sure it is balanced for your skin’s needs. Adapting your routine to the weather is important because our skin responds differently to the products you use depending on how hot/dry/humid/cold/moist the atmosphere is around us.

Congestion
It is common to begin to feel congested in the cooler to colder months. Congestion relief assists in easing sinus pressure & reducing the swelling of blood vessels in your nose which opens up the airways allowing you to breathe easier.

Some research has shown that essential oils reduce inflammation, fight bacteria & relieve pain.
