Hyacinth absolute is extracted from the striking purple flowers. It is native to the eastern Mediterranean, however, grows across temperate regions globally. Hyacinth is used in France in high class perfumery, the Netherlands and across the globe in perfume and aromatherapy. It has powerful sedative properties and has been used for calming the mind and relaxation. Hyacinth has been used in skincare for relieving irritation, cell regeneration and nourishing skin.
Hyacinth has a lovely strong floral aroma and in perfumery often used in the middle of the composition. It blends well with other florals like jasmine, orange blossom, tuberose and violet. Also woods such as cedarwood, benzoin and sandalwood, and citrus oils like grapefruit and bergamot.
Absolutes and essential oils should always be diluted before use on the skin. In perfume it adds a strength to the blend and best used at 1% or lower due to it’s powerful scent.

Use 4-6 drops on an Aroma Diffuser/Humidifier, or, if using on skin, always dilute in a suitable carrier oil, such as Jojoba or Almond, no more than 2%.

Avoid eye contact, inner ears, and any sensitive areas.
Skin application does increase UV sensitivity, so please avoid the full sun for 12 hours if applied to exposed areas.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

REFUNDS & RETURNS
There are no refunds for change of mind. However, if there is a fault or damage upon receipt of goods, please send a photo from your phone to our email address, and we will be happy to replace the faulty or damaged item. Now and then a dispensing unit can be defective and because we are not allowed to check how the pump dispenses, we cannot control quality on pumps and atomiser sprays. However, we will pay to re-send another one as soon as practicable.
Malano has a satisfaction guarantee on all of our products. We do not exchange for change of mind, or if you have a custom skincare product that irritates your skin, we don't refund, but we reformulate and send it free of charge to ensure that our customers are delighted. You must return the skincare and send a detailed reason why it has been returned. We are always open to discuss and prefer this over, a customer not returning.
