BACURI BUTTER - Camu Camu Berry & jojoba came from South America, now another much newer, fabulous ingredient has come to the market. They kept this little beauty up their sleeves and it is used by the locals, it plays a very important role both socially & economically. Mainly known to increase energy production at the cellular level, delivering deep hydration. Clinical trials revealed a 40% increase in the chemical energy (ATP) within cells & volunteers over 45 years of age had a 30% improvement in their skin integrity & 15% increase in the skin moisture levels. Rich in Vitamin D2, E & K, Magnesium, Zinc & Calcium. Additionally, due to it’s high nutrition content, Bacuri contains an Amino Acid called Tryptophan, which in the presence of light, it is metabolized into biologically active compounds such as Serotonin, this neurotransmitter associated with the sense of well-being. The indigenous people use Bacuri Butter as an anti-inflammatory, treating arthritis & rheumatic conditions, they call it the “Miracle Butter.”

CUPUACU BUTTER - Amazonian Butter. Rich in phytosterols; benefits dry, damaged skin. Polyphenols; Combat free radicals in the skin tissue. Fatty acids; Protect & moisturise the skin. Exotic Butters perform as active ingredients, delivering healing & restructuring benefits. It improves overall skin moisture, offers pure hydration, evidence of boosting elasticity & having anti-inflammatory activity. It is not recognised as an SPF, and it is well known for the capability to absorb damaging UVA/B rays, giving more natural sun protection. Contains a high amount of natural Stearic Acid, around 38%, which has many benefits for the skin, far better in natural forms such as Cupuacu, rather than animal or palm varieties. Stearic acid; Found in many plants and animal fats, and we use it to make sure we have clean products & better for our brand ethics.

UCUUBA BUTTER - Amazonian Butter. Rich in Lauric Acid, Myristic Acid & Palmitic Acid, as with Babassu Oil. Vitamin C; Contributes to maintaining healthy skin, by assisting with wound healing & protects against cellular DNA damage which occurs with oxidation. Vitamin A (Retinol); assists with unclogging the pores, boosts collagen synthesis, speeds up cell renewal, reduces fine lines, smoothes skin & evens out discolouration.

KUNZEA OIL - Soothes irritated & itchy scalp, helps promote hair growth & thickening.

LAVENDER OIL - A powerful antioxidant & anti-microbial. Heals wounds, cuts & burns as well as being beneficial in the treatment of irritated skin, eczema, age spots & acne. Lightens skin, reduces wrinkles, used to treat psoriasis & reduces redness, while cleansing. Wound healing properties, in 2016 research found that lavender oil aids in the healing of the skin tissue. Great for repelling insects, or relieving irritation if bitten & ease the pain from bites. Great for hair and skin.

BABASSU OIL - Amazonian oil. Contains Glucosides, Vitamins & Fatty Acids. Lauric Acid; an antimicrobial kills viruses & bacteria, Myristic Acid; Lubricates skin & high rate of absorption by the skin. Palmitic Acid; Acts as a natural emollient, softens skin & helps retain moisture. Oleic Acid; great for dry & thirsty skin, helps regulate sebum production & Linoleic Acid; light and fast-absorbing fatty acid nourishes skin, without clogging pores, aids healing skin & opens layers for faster absorption. Natural Vitamin E, collagen booster, nourishing & protecting. Phytosterols; Plant sterols, which stimulate pore detoxification and strengthens the skin's lipid barrier.

DRAGON'S BLOOD RESIN - Predominantly found in South America, another little beauty from the Amazon. It is excellent for ageing & damaged skin due to its high antioxidative quotient. Dragon’s blood has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial & anti-viral properties. These properties help people who suffer from acne, psoriasis & eczema.
Widely used on infectious skin conditions of all kinds very successfully. It is rich in anti-inflammatory compounds of various kinds & protective antioxidant phenols. Due to these compounds, Dragon’s blood sap/resin helps to protect the cells of the skin and reduces redness and swelling. It also contains a group of compounds called proanthocyanidins, which actually repair collagen, the main protein that makes up much of our tissues. In addition, Dragon’s blood contains Taspine, a known tissue-healing agent.

Skin

This product is for all skin types, but check for sensitivities as we use a number of ingredients that are derived from nut butters.

This is safe for broken skin and it will soothe and nourish and contains nature's antimicrobials.

Please conduct a small test patch first.

This may be used on any area of the body for stings, bites and blisters, however, do avoid too close to the eyes.

Apply 2-3 times per day for maximum results, always ensuring use before bed.

This product contains functional ingredients, so please be sure to check with your health professional and always read the ingredients list and cautions.

Please store under 21C and avoid direct sunlight, so that the integrity of the functional ingredients remains.

Non-toxic, non-sensitising & non-irritating.

Although extremely rare, if you happen to have a reaction, please discontinue using this product. Please avoid eye contact and discontinue if you have any type of reaction.

This salve does not generally cause reactions, however, in the event that some people are super sensitive to products with nuts and oils, we recommend that you conduct a small test patch first.

Some people may be allergic to the butters used in the salve.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

There are no refunds for change of mind. However, if there is a fault or damage upon receipt of goods, please send a photo from your phone to our email address, and we will be happy to replace the faulty or damaged item. Now and then a dispensing unit can be defective and because we are not allowed to check how the pump dispenses, we cannot control quality on pumps and atomiser sprays. However, we will pay to re-send another one as soon as practicable.

We do not exchange for change of mind, or if you have a custom skincare product that irritates your skin, we don't refund, but we reformulate and send it free of charge to ensure that our customers are delighted. You must return the skincare and send a detailed reason why it has been returned. We are always open to discuss and prefer this over, a customer not returning.
